Safeguarding Policy
Our Commitment to Safety
Bright Boots Coaching LTD is committed to ensuring that all children and young people participating in our activities have a safe and positive experience. We recognize our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children and young people by protecting them from physical, sexual or emotional harm and from neglect or bullying.
1. Key Principles
- The child's welfare is, and must always be, the paramount consideration.
- All children and young people have a right to be protected from abuse regardless of their age, gender, disability, race, sexual orientation, faith or belief.
- All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
- Working in partnership with other organizations, children and young people and their parents/carers is essential.
2. Our Staff
All our coaches and staff members undergo rigorous recruitment procedures, including Enhanced DBS checks and reference verification. They are trained in safeguarding awareness and are required to adhere to our Code of Conduct at all times.
3. Reporting Concerns
If you have a concern about the welfare of a child or the behavior of a member of staff, it is your responsibility to report it. Please contact our Designated Safeguarding Officer immediately.

4. Photography & Images
We strictly adhere to parental consent regarding photography. No images of children will be taken or published without explicit written consent from a parent or guardian. We use a clear system (visual indicators on registers) to ensure staff are aware of which children cannot be photographed.
